This Café Europa aims to take stock of forty years of Spain’s membership in the European Union. Four decades after the signing of the Accession Treaty, what remains of the European enthusiasm of the 1980s? How has our understanding of citizenship, politics, and the European project changed?
We will discuss this in an intergenerational conversation on Friday, October 31, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., online, with the participation of Xavier Mas de Xaxàs, Paola Lo Cascio and Mariona Muns, a Law and Political Science student at the University of Girona and delegate of the working groups of Team Europe Catalonia.
A conversation to look back, understand the present, and imagine what it means to be European in the future.
